Issue 19.1 of the journal Expressions maghrébines will focus on transmedia aesthetics in contemporary Maghreb. This dossier, coordinated by Claudia Esposito (University of Massachussetts Boston), welcomes contributions which analyse new forms of expression emerging from the artistic conjunction between writing and the visual arts from different perspectives, disciplines, and theoretical frameworks, and which theorize on what is transmedia and multidimensional in the Maghrebi context. Deadline for reception of proposals is June 30, 2019.
