Rodrigo Andrés and Joana Masó (ADHUC–Universitat de Barcelona) have edited the volume Re/visiones Gitanas. Políticas, (auto)representaciones y activismos en diálogo con el género y la sexualidad (Bellaterra, 2018). This book gathers studies, monographs and testimonies about the dialogues held during three years between researchers and activists belonging to the Roma, non-Roma and academic community. With contributions from different disciplines such as sociology, anthropology, philosophy, law, education or social work from different countries such as Spain, Italy, France or Scotland, we have sought to pose questions and tools that, from the struggle against anti-Roma and from decoloniality, can transform the presence of the Roma community within the collective imagination.
This publication is the result of the project "New views on the community / New hybrid and sexualized Roma identities" (FFI2014-53047-R).
