This new volume of the collection "El arte de leer" (Eudeba and Katz Editores) wants to explore the arendtian's exigence of understand the hideous novelty of the present time through an analysis of her readings of works by Socrates, Montiesquieu, Kant, Rousseau and Marx. The book gathers articles written by authorities on the work of Hannah Arendt such as Fina Birulés, Simona Forti, À. Lorena Fuster, Martine Leibovici and Matías Sirczuk. These different approaches to Arendt’s work aim to study the way in which the thinker reacted to new forms of domination that, emerging at the very heart of Europe, differed from a plural conception of politics.
