Rafael M. Mérida Jiménez, researcher at the Centre Dona i Literatura, and Jorge Luis Peralta are the editors of the recent published book Las Masculinidades en la Transición (Egales, 2015). Aiming to investigate the different forms of masculinity and sexual minorities (lesbian, gay and transgender) within fields pertaining to the humanities and the social sciences, this publication offers a compilation of essays as well as research papers that consider this question in relation to the context of an especially relevant period for the history of Spain. This book gathers contributions from a variety of fields such as politics, literature, cinema or the visual arts, particularly from a group of artists original from Spain and Latin America. In addition to the editors, this volume collects essays written by Juan Vicente Aliaga, Estrella Díaz, Dieter Ingenschay, Elena Madrigal, Alberto Mira and Gracia Trujillo, among others.
