Elena Laurenzi and Marta Segarra are coordinating two courses at the Institut d'Humanitats de Barcelona, starting in April 2015. Laurenzi is going to present some of the most relevant issues and debates that occupy feminist theory today, in order to reflect on the validity of its revolutionary potential. À. Lorena Fuster and Florència González Brizuela will also take part in the course. On the other hand, Marta Segarra proposes to think about desire and to analyze some of its literary, filmic and artistic representations, in order to show how every articulation of desire betrays a certain view of the world and of the subject, such as the body, gender, pornography, and animality.
