The book Las lesbianas (no) somos mujeres. En torno a Monique Wittig, edited by Beatriz Suárez Briones, is to be presented in Madrid. This volume offers a reflection on Monique Wittig's key notions and explores the ways in which concepts such as lesbian, woman, desire and language have contributed and still contribute to a critique of heteropatriarchy. The book includes essays by the editor and the researchers Isabel Balza, Elvira Burgos, María Jesús Fariña, Aránzazu Hernández Piñero and Gracia Trujillo, all of which will attend the presentation.
