María Teresa Vera Rojas, researcher with the Centre Dona i Literatura, has received the award Desayuno en Urano for LGTB literature 2012 for her edited volume Nuevas subjetividades / Sexualidades literarias (Barcelona: Egales), in the essay category. The annual prize is awarded by dosmanzanas, a webpage founded in 2005 that specializes in the distribution of news and information for the LGTB community.
