Estudi de l'hibridisme inherent a les identitats, individuals i nacionals, construïdes sobre la base de desplaçaments poblacionals
The Seminari Filosofia i Gènere, from ADHUC-Centre de Recerca Teoria, gènere i sexualitat, is organizing the thesis workshop for Meritxell Joan Rodríguez, predoctoral scholarship holder FPU (ADHUC). Her doctoral thesis, entitled "A Study of the Hybridity Inherent to the Identities (both National and Individual) Built on the Basis of Population Movements", supervised by Marta Segarra (CNRS and ADHUC) and Mònica Rius (ADHUC, UB), reflects upon identity construction processes within migratory contexts, considering a gender approach. The research focuses on the figures of Najat El Hachmi and Dalila Kerchouche, who grew up in Catalonia and France, respectively, after their families migrated there from the Maghrebi region. Using writing as a tool, the authors stablish different kinds of belonging with their communities of origin and vindicate the construction of discursive spaces for these communities, marginalized from the hegemonic discourses.
