El cos okupat. Iconografies del cos femení com a espai de la transgressió masculina en el còmic

The Seminari Filosofia i Gènere, of the Consolidated Research Group (GRC) Creació i Pensament de les Dones, is organizing the thesis workshop for Marika Vila i Migueloa of the Universitat de Barcelona. Her dissertation, entitled "El cos 'okupat'. Iconografies del cos femení com a espai de la transgressió masculina en el còmic" and supervised by Marta Segarra (Centre Dona i Literatura), critically examines the sex/gender system upon which the iconographic comic discourse is created. It uses the female body as a core, through which all the social meanings that encode it, from an androcentric and consumerist vision, are inscribed. The thesis workshop, directed by Rosa Rius Gatell and coordinated by Georgina Rabassó, is an innovative teaching experience which consists in sharing the research trajectory during the doctoral dissertation phase.
