Myriam MALLART BRUSSOSA is a lecturer in Francophone literature at the University of Barcelona, researcher at ADHUC-Theory, Gender and Sexuality Research Centre, researcher of the project ‘Gender, image and materiality in the literary culture of modernity (1880s-1930s)’ (PID2022-137613NB-I00) funded by MCIN/AEI. Her main areas of specialisation are contemporary sub-Saharan African literature with a focus on theatre and issues related to ecofeminism and the writing of history from a decolonial perspective. She is also interested in the French women's press of Modernity from the perspective of materiality studies and explores the interaction between visual and textual dimensions as a mechanism for the construction of gender and the identity of Modern women.
