Maria Isern Ordeig

Maria Isern Ordeig is a predoctoral researcher at ADHUC-Center for Research Theory, Gender, Sexuality. Graduated in Literary Studies (2016, University of Barcelona), with an MA in Construction and Representation of Cultural Identities (2018, University of Barcelona), her research focuses on the study of the subversive, corporal representations and their textualization in the context of contemporary literature. Her PhD thesis analyzes the symbolic and narratological relations between the images of the eye and the hole in 21th century literary, grafic, and filmic fiction.
