Andrea PÉREZ FERNÁNDEZ is a predoctoral researcher at ADHUC-Research Center for Theory, Gender, Sexuality. Graduated in Journalism (UPF, 2017) and with a Master’s Degree in Citizenship and Human Rights: Ethics and Politics (UB, 2018), she studies the interwar photomontages of Hannah Höch (1889-1978) based on the Feminist and Marxist theories of art. Her doctoral research, supervised by Dr. Fina Birulés Bertran (UB) and Dr. Maria-Josep Balsach i Peig (UdG), focuses on the relationship between the construction of femininity in media in the Weimar Republic and the debate surrounding the notion of freedom in German Dadaist avant-garde.
