Adina Elena MOCANU is a university lecturer in Audiovisual Scriptwriting and Film Theory at the Department of Arts and Media at the University of Craiova (Romania), and postdoctoral researcher in ADHUC-Theory, Gender, Sexuality Research Center and UNESCO Chair Women, Development and Cultures. She holds a PhD in Construction and Representation of Cultural Identities (2017) from the University of Barcelona. Her postdoctoral research focuses on the representation of girls in Romanian cinema and literature. She has translated critical and philosophical texts from Spanish and Catalan into Romanian, such as the volume Antracte. Despre politică, feminism și gândire by Fina Birulés.
