Trobades entorn del viure gitano: gènere, memòria, economia, llocs
As part of the research project "New Views on the Community / New Hybrid and Sexualized Roma Identities", organised by Centre de recerca Teoria, Gènere, Sexualitat (ADHUC), the Fundació Antoni Tàpies will host an event revolving around the Roma community; activists, researchers, documentary makers and artists will discuss issues to do with gender, housing and settlements, the ways in which memory is "stored" within the Roma community, as well as their economic activities. The participants will be, amongst others, María Carrasco, Demetrio Gómez and Iñaki Vázquez (activists from Romany organizations), Veus Gitanes / Romane Glasura (association of Romany women), Eva Cruells (documentary maker), Alejandra Riera and Pedro G. Romero (artists), Nieves Ibeas (Universidad de Zaragoza), and Rodrigo Andrés, Pablo Cáceres, Joana Masó, Adina Mocanu and Marta Segarra, researchers at the Centre ADHUC.
