Séminaire Rusemeg, Genre et récit

The Centre Dona i Literatura will organise the 4th edition of the Itinerant Seminar of the RUSEMEG (Réseau Universitaire et Scientifique Euro-Méditerranéen sur le Genre et les femmes), which gathers researchers and PhD candidates interested in studying issues to do with gender in the Euro-Mediterranean area. This edition, entitled "Genre et récit", focuses on the relationship between gender and narration, both oral and written narration, from the point of view of cultural, historical, literary and cinema studies. Researchers from Morocco, Tunis, France and Algeria, such as Karine Lambert, Zohra Mezgueldi, Fatma Oussedik or Michèle Riot-Sarcey, as well as Joana Masó, Katarzyna Paszkiewicz and Marta Segarra, from the Centre Dona i Literatura will participate in the event. Following the seminar, there will be a discussion with several women's organizations, at the European Institute of the Mediterranean, and a workshop in which PhD students from France, Tunis, Morocco, Algeria and Catalonia will discuss their thesis with the professors participating in these sessions. The language of the seminar will be French.
