Políticas del reciclaje artístico de la fotografía de guerra

The Centre Dona i Literatura has organized the seminar "Políticas del reciclaje artístico de la fotografía de guerra" to be given by Antonio Monegal, of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Having earned his doctorate from Harvard University, he has taught at Cornell, Harvard and Princeton, and is the author of Luis Buñuel de la literatura al cine: Una poética del objeto (Anthropos, 1993) and En los límites de la diferencia: Poesía e imagen en las vanguardias hispánicas (Tecnos, 1998). He has edited works by García Lorca and was one of the curators of the exhibition En Guerra at the CCCB in 2004. He is vicepresident of the Consell de Cultura de Barcelona and chairs its Comitè Executiu. Registration is free until May 20 through cdona@ub.edu.
