Jeff Hearn, sociologist and professor at the Hanken School of Economics and Linköping University, will give the seminar "Men Around the World", which aims at analyzing the different ways in which transnationalism and globalization influence the construction of masculinities. Professor Hearn is a renowned specialist in the analysis of masculinities and the author of key texts in this field. The seminar is held as part of the activities of the research project "Men in Fiction: Toward a History of Masculinity through U.S. Literature and Cinema, 20th and 21st Centuries", coordinated by Àngels Carabí.
