The II international symposium Literatura que fa Història, titled "Amèrica: Escriptures del Jo i de l'Altra", aims to analyze the experience of travelling and writing from a gender perspective, as women authors' processes of creation of a different, diverse self, and of alterity in the geographic and cultural frame of the American continent. Participants include Helena González and Elena Losada (ADHUC-Universitat de Barcelona), María Teresa Vera-Rojas (ADHUC-Universitat de Lleida), Dúnia Gras and Patrícia Martínez (Universitat de Barcelona), Tania Pleitez (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), Katarzyna Moszscyńska-Dürst (Uniwersytet Warszawski) and Lina Meruane (writer). This symposium is co-organized by ADHUC, TEIAA, the Master in Latin American Studies and the PhD program in Linguistic, Literary and Cultural Studies (UB). Assistance is open. Certificates will be offered in case of attendance at all sessions.
