c/ Aribau 2, 5è - 08007 Barcelona
The predoctoral seminar "Jo escriuré encara que el món s'enfonsi". Catalan Women Writers at Contemporaneity is a forum for predoctoral researchers coordinated by Helena González (ADHUC-Universitat de Barcelona) and Francesco Ardolino (Universitat de Barcelona). Its aim is to establish a dialogue on the progress, difficulties and challenges regarding the study of Catalan women writers, their production, the negotiation with their recognition in the tension between exclusion and acceptance. The issues to analyze include their thinking, their work, and their role as writers from the ideological, theoretical, aesthetic, and historical point of view. The title of this seminar has its origins in a quotation of Maria Auràlia Capmany. This activity is the result of the project: "Tràsfugues i parias modernes" (FEM2017-83974-P MINECO/AEI/FEDER, UE). Participation by invitation only. Open attendance.
