Identities and discrimination: genders, ages and sexualities

The Research Group on Women and Gender in Antiquity Tàcita Muta and ADHUC—Research Centre Theory, Gender, Sexuality organise the seminar “Identities and discrimination: genders, ages and sexualities”. In this activity we will take a historical trip on the intertwining of body, age and gender, paying special attention not only to the silences generated by these concepts, but also to the different forms of articulating them through literature and history. Dolors Molas (ADHUC—Universitat de Barcelona); Virgínia Leal (Universidade de Brasília); Marc Orriols and Jordi Vidal (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona); Mireia Comas, Agnès Garcia-Ventura, Dolores Juliano and Teresa Vinyoles (Universitat de Barcelona) among others, will take part in the seminar. This activity is open to the public.
