Catalan playwrights of the 21st century: creation, translation and criticism

The International Symposium "Dramaturgues catalanes del segle XXI: creació, traducció i crítica", coordinated by Adriana Nicolau Jiménez (ADHUC-Universitat de Barcelona) and Gemma Pellisa Prades (Universitat de Barcelona), brings together experts in the field of female authors, gender representation, and critical reception. The program includes a meeting with playwrights Lara Díez Quintanilla and Anna Maria Ricart, a dramatized reading of Guadalupe Sáez's La confianza, and a gathering with prominent figures in theater criticism. Participants include, among others: Marta Segarra (LEGS-CNRS and ADHUC-Universitat de Barcelona), Helena Buffery (University College Cork), Marta Duran (University of Saint Andrews), Eva Espasa (Universitat de Vic-UCC), Jen Harvie (Queen Mary University of London), and Montserrat Palau Vergés (Universitat Rovira i Virgili).
