The round table "Escriptores en temps bonapartians: Mary Wollstonecraft i Madame de Staël" seeks to reflect on the process of translation by examining the works of two key figures in the vindication of the role of women, their rights and the fight for equality. The speakers will be Mònica Miró and Joan Josep Mussarra, translators into Catalan of De l'influence des passions sur le bonheur des individus, by Madame de Staël (De la influència de les passions en la felicitat dels individus i de les nacions), and A Vindication of the Rights of Woman, by Wollstonecraft (Vindicació dels drets de la dona). They will be accompanied by Maite Muns, editor at L'Art de la memòria.
