El pensament de Françoise Collin, today

The Seminari Filosofia i Gènere and the Centre Dona i Literatura. Gènere, sexualitats, crítica de la cultura, groups which form part of the Consolidated Research Group (GRC) Creació i Pensament de les Dones, are organizing an homage to Françoise Collin, one of the most well-known French feminist thinkers of our times, who passed away in September 2012. Collin was the founder and director of the feminist journal Les Cahiers du Grif, author of numerous philosophical essays and a regular collaborator of the GRC. Part of her texts, in which she reflects on the relationships between writing, art and politics, have been collected in Praxis de la diferencia. Liberación y libertad, edited by Marta Segarra and with a postface by Fina Birulés (series Mujeres y Culturas, Icaria, 2006). The roundtable, which will be held in the Llibreria Pròleg, will include the participation of Fina Birulés (Seminari Filosofia i Gènere), Marisa Forcina (Università del Salento) and Marta Segarra (Centre Dona i Literatura).
