ADHUC collaborates with the seventh edition of the Jornades Marçalianes, which is organized into three thematic frameworks. On the one hand, the workshop approaches Maria-Mercè Marçal's political involvement with the presentation of 26 lost texts published between 1979 and 1980 in the Galician Press (A Nosa Terra). It also reflects upon the exploration of the queer, the body, and affections in her poetry and autobiography. Lastly, Marçal's legacy will be read as a departure point to foster a dialogue between her work and contemporary poets. Amongst the participants will be Helena González (ADHUC—Universitat de Barcelona); Rafael M. Mérida (ADHUC—Universitat de Lleida); Aina Pérez Fontdevila (Universidad Complutense de Madrid); Maria Isern (Universitat de Barcelona); Lluïsa Julià (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya); David Fernández (journalist); Najat el Hachmi, Gonzalo Hermo, Bel Olid, Sebastià Portell, Miriam Reyes (authors). Free attendance.
