The BIRMss is the a yearly event held at Riskcenter. In 2012, the Summer School is composed of three courses:

- Stephen Vanduffel (Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium) Financial Bounds for Insurance Claims and Explicit Representation of cost-efficient Strategies. May, 16-18.
- Constantin Zopounidis (Technical University of Crete, Greece) Multiple Criteria in Finance and Accounting. May, 7-9.
