We have recently published our work on the evaluation of a virus concentration method based on ultrafiltration and wet foam elution for studying viruses from large-volume water samples as a open acces paper:
Marta Rusiñol
PhD in Environmental Microbiology and Biotechnology. Her studies focus in water analysis and sustainable water management, more specifically in fecal source tracking tools and the evaluation of virus dissemination in the environment. At present, she works in metagenomics and molecular based tools to identify and control emergent microbial contaminants in irrigation water. She is an associated professor at the Microbiology Department of the Biology Faculty, University of Barcelona.
