UB research group studies the loggerhead turtle that nested in Tarragona's coast
A group of researchers from the Department of Animal Biology and the Biodiversity Research Institute (IRBio) of UB is going to analyse some genetic samples of the loggerhead turtle (Caretta caretta) which nested in the beach L'Arrabassada, in Tarragona, on 25 August. The main aim of the study is to know more accurately the origin of the specimen and, in general, the reproductive biology of this endangered species.
