The service learning project in the social work degree was created thanks to an initiative from the Trans@net group. This is a teaching innovation group from the University of Barcelona that was consolidated in 2013/2014 with the aim to generate mutual knowledge within the members of the group and find new and common challenges to improve the students social work education.
This program hopes to implement the service learning methodology from the first year until the fourth in the Social Work degree. Its aim is to strengthen the learning process of the students thorough the contact with reality and their commitment as future social workers.
