Historical collections includes personal herbarium or exsiccates of 19th-century and early 20th century. For their peculiar characteristics (format of the sheets, labels, etc.) are kept separate from the general herbarium. One of the most important are the J. Planellas (1820-1888) herbarium, who was botanical teacher at the Barcelona University from 1868 to 1888. It is also important the J. Texidor (1838-1885) herbarium, another botanical teacher of the Pharmacy Faculty of our university. We also include in this section the "Iter Maroccanum" exsiccata of P. Font Quer (1888-1964), images of specimens collected by P. Font Quer during their trips to Morocco from 1927 to 1930.
