The master in Biomedicine is aimed at people interested in expanding their knowledge in the field of basic and translational research in biomedicine. Master is accessible from the different degrees related to biomedical sciences or health sciences in general. Exceptionally, the Master can be accessed by other graduates (Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science ...) pursuing prior additional specific training detailed below.
It aims to train experts in biomedical and translational research, specifically in the fields of molecular oncology and endocrinology and metabolism. Competent professionals to perform or support the development of research projects both in the industrial or medical environment of basic and translational biomedical research. For graduates with less biomedical training or who do not wish to pursue specialties such as oncology or endocrinology and metabolism the Master offers a more generalist specialty called "Molecular and cellular basis of human disease.

Information on additional training:
Additional training complements will be imparted for those students lacking in their curriculum Basics on Human Physiology, Cell Biology / Molecular Genetics or Pharmacology. The basic knowledge of these disciplines is considered necessary for the student to optimally acquire skills in the different subjects of the master. To this end we have designed one specific subject:

• 569919 Fundamentals of Molecular and Cellular Biology, of Genetics, of Physiopathology
  (6 credits)

This subject will be taught before the compulsory subjects.
Is a course specifically designed for it is issued as such and not part of the curriculum of the Master.
