Gaia is one of the missions of the European Space Agency emblematic in this decade; aims to clarify the origin and evolution of our galaxy. Therefore, Gaia will get a very accurate 3D map of a billion stars. With this mission can finally answer the questions: how the galaxy was formed and how has the role of dark matter in the universe, the evolution of stars and many other questions.
