The author present here various aspects and an up to date state of the book. Focus on the plates painted by Tim Workfolk, the photos of H. Shirihai, shows an overview of the text sections (general section on biology, and species sections), and will finally present how we are going to deal with two particular aspects of the monograph: species limits and systemathics of petrels, and distribution at sea.

L'autor presenta diversos aspectes i una posada al dia de l'estat del llibre. Centra en els plats pintats per Tim Workfolk, les fotos de H. Shirihai, i mostra una visió general de les seccions de text (secció general sobre la biologia i les espècies seccions), on finalment presenta la forma en què tractarem dos aspectes particulars de la monografia: espècies límit i sistemàtica de petrells, i la distribució al mar.
