The Crystallography Platform (PAC) is a technology platform due to its origin from the interaction between the Barcelona Science Park (PCB) and the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC). The CAP is a confluence space between lines of expertise groups crystallography CSIC and the provision of instrumental and personnel from the PCB and two institutes at the PCB, the Institute of Molecular Biology of Barcelona (IBMB-CSIC) and the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona).

The CAP provides the necessary tools, from a volume (250μl) of a sample of purified protein at high concentration (1-10 mg / mL), a process initiated in the search for crystallization conditions crystallization, thus can take data with X-ray diffraction of protein crystals.
