Rosa Rius Gatell is honorary researcher of the Philosophy and Gender Seminar-ADHUC Research Center Theory, Gender, Sexuality, member of the Philosophy and Gender Seminar since its foundation in 1990.

Her research revolves around two core areas: Renaissance philosophy, and women’s thought during various eras, particularly the 12^th-16^th centuries and the 20^th century. She has edited a number of collective volumes, amongst which the following are notable: Sobre la guerra y la violencia en el discurso femenino, 1914-1989 (2006); Filósofos, filosofía y filosofías en la Encyclopédie de Diderot y d’Alambert (2009), with Miguel A. Granada and Piero Schiavo; Pensadoras del Siglo XX. Aportaciones al pensamiento filosófico y político (2011) and Lectoras de Simone Weil (2013), with Fina Birulés; and Remedios Varo. Caminos del conocimiento, la creación y el exilio, with María José González Madrid (2013). She has translated a wide range of works by women philosophers such as Jeanne Hersch and Rachel Bespaloff.
