PhD in Philosophy from the University of Barcelona
Ana Lanfranconi studied Philosophy (2008), and Literary Theory and Comparative Literature (2009) at the Universitat de Barcelona. She completed a Master’s degree in “Philosophie et critiques contemporaines de la culture” (2011) at the Université Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint Denis. She realized a dissertation on the relationship between fascism and technology in Walter Benjamin’s thought, under the direction of Jean-Louis Déotte. She holds a PhD in Philosophy (2017) from the University of Barcelona.
She has enjoyed a FI predoctoral contract between 2012 and 2015 to develop her doctoral thesis on the relationship between images of childhood and forms of politicization in the writings of Walter Benjamin, directed by professors of contemporary philosophy Fina Birulés and Laura Llevadot. She is a researcher of the Filosofia i Gènere Seminar since 2011.
