MUVAN: Workshop on the book “Dos mujeres con gato: Escritos sobre las artes de Hannah Höch y Lu Märten”

The Philosophy and Gender Seminar – ADHUC (Universitat de Barcelona) and the UCM Research Group Normatividad, Emociones, Discurso y Sociedad – GINEDIS (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) organize a talk around the publication of Dos mujeres con gato: Escritos sobre las artes de Hannah Höch y Lu Märten (Tres Hermanas, 2023) linked to the project “MUVAN Femenine Avant-garde in the Activism between Centuries (19th and 20th): Influences in Women’s Philosophy” PID2020-113980GA-I00

This compilation of writings has been edited, translated and prefaced by the philologist and translator Isabel García Adánez (GINEDIS) and by Andrea Pérez Fernández, researcher both of the Philosophy and Gender Seminar and the MUVAN Project.

In addition to Adánez and Pérez, who will talk about the relevance of the book for studying the work of the avant-garde artist Hannah Höch and the socialist theorist Lu Märten, Nuria Sánchez Madridwill link the publication to the research being carried out within the GINEDIS research group.
