MUVAN: International Workshop

The Seminari Filosofia i Gènere-ADHUC organizes a working session of the research team of the project “MUVAN Women in the vanguard of activism between centuries (XIX and XX): Influences in feminine philosophy”, MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033.

In the first part of the session, the principal investigator (PI) À. Lorena Fuster points out some of the possible lines of connection between women’s activism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and the philosophical production of 20th century women philosophers. Next, Fina Birulés reflects on methodological questions that establish bridges between the project and some of the team’s previous research. After a short break, Elena Laurenzi and Manuela Mosca present considerations about their project on women activists in Italy between the centuries (1890-1920).

Researchers from the project “Género, violencia y representación. Los textos de creación en la prensa femenina peninsular (1848-1918)” were also invited with the aim of sharing experiences and methodological reflections with the researchers of the MUVAN project.
