Marc Suñé Pou, PhD.

Graduated in Pharmacy with an Extraordinary Award from the University of Barcelona (UB) and holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology from UB and the CSIC. During his PhD, he completed a research stay at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, USA. After finishing his PhD, he spent 3 years in the Pharmaceutical Development department at Medichem S.A., leading the pharmaceutical development of various solid, liquid, and semi-solid medications.

In November 2021, he joined the University of Barcelona as an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology. He currently leads the scientific management of projects in the Pharmaceutical Development department of SDM and is the Principal Investigator (PI) of the research line on “Lipid Nanoparticles for Delivering DNA/RNA Across the Blood-Brain Barrier.”
