Professional Experience
Full Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Barcelona (UB). After spending 3 years in the pharmaceutical industry, first at Ferrer Internacional and then at Laboratorios Doctor Andreu, he joined the University in 1986 as a full-time professor. His interest in bridging the academic world with the pharmaceutical industry led him to found SDM in 1996, which he has directed since its inception.
In 2015, he founded a second facility, which he directs as Scientific Director, with the aim of complying with GMP regulations to develop clinical batches for companies and hospitals: UB-Farmatec.
