The “Committee for the Sociology of Sexualities” (CI34) has organized the “I Congress of young researchers in sexualities”. It will be held virtually on July 8 and 9, 2021. It is organized with a dual purpose: to contribute to the knowledge and advancement in the framework of sexualities and to make visible and provide feedback to the work carried out by young researchers.
The congress is divided into three categories of participation according to the level of studies of the participants: undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies. The Congress has been a successful participation with more than 60 speakers from different Universities from Europe, Latin America and the USA.
The sessions will be moderated by the Congress organizers Laia Folguera, as a teacher and researcher at the UB School of Sociology, and Ignasi Puig as a doctoral student in the UB School of Sociology programme, and Aina Faus and Arantxa Grau from the University of Valencia.
