University of Barcelona ranked 45th in Europe for Social Sciences and Management
The University of Barcelona has been ranked 45th in Europe for Social Sciences and Management after having climbed eight places over the last year, according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2018. The latest edition of this ranking has placed the university 110th in the world, having risen 25 places since last year.
Although Social Sciences and Management is the general branch of knowledge in which the UB School of Economics is registered, the QS World University Rankings also provide detailed information for specific subjects taught at our school, such as Statistics & Operational Research and Economics & Econometrics.
The UB School of Economics has been placed among the best 100 universities in the world for Statistics & Operational Research. This puts our institution among the top 33 in Europe and in the highest position of any university in Spain.
As for Economics & Econometrics, the school ranks among the top 150 universities in the world and the best 57 institutions in Europe.
