UB School of Economics launches new student ambassadors programme
The UB School of Economics is happy to announce the launch of the student Ambassadors Programme, which falls within the framework of a wider project to expand the connection between alumni, students and prospective students. The programme marks an important milestone for the UB School of Economics.
The ambassadors consist of alumni and current students who want to support prospective students in their new stage of life and share their experience about studying at UB School of Economics. Prospective students value the experiences and information that alumni and current students have to offer and will often feel more comfortable talking to a peer than to a member of administrative or academic staff.
The ambassadors are key representatives of the school who will help students to get started at the faculty, talk about their experience at the UB School of Economics as well as provide directions for localities in Barcelona. The objective of the student Ambassadors Programme is to provide vital service in order to help (young) people make the right career, progression, education decision for them.
In order to get in touch with the ambassadors the UB School of Economics launched the ambassadors section on the website. In the ambassador section students can select their studies and region and contact the respective student via the stated email address. General questions and specific queries regarding the MSc/PhD in Economics programme will still be answered by the UB School of Economics management. Ambassadors will only have to provide personal insight when they get a request from any of the UB School of Economics candidates.
