Two UB Economics researchers awarded with RecerCaixa grants
The call for research grants RecerCaixa 2015, an initiative fostered by Obra Social la Caixa and the Catalan Association of Public Universities (ACUP), will allocate 1.6 million euros to support 19 projects of excellence in the fields of social and health sciences.
Two projects led by UB Economics researchers have been selected in this call: “The Effect of Social Cohesion on Crime Rates and Security Perceptions: The Role of the Cultural Associationism in a Urban Setting” by Daniel Montolio and “Evaluation of job search programmes to reduce long-term unemployment and social exclusion” by Germà Bel.
