The UB stands out among the top 100 worldwide universities according to NTU Ranking
The University of Barcelona (UB) keeps improving positions every year. It holds the 69th position worldwide, according to the National Taiwan University Ranking (NTU). It has improved seven positions compared to last year. Regarding Europe it is listed on the 18th position and gains 6 positions compared to 2015. The University of Barcelona is also the leading Spanish university, followed by the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the University of Valencia. The NTU Ranking is one of the first international rankings that opted for calculating positions out of a series of indicators obtained only from indexed scientific performance. The new edition of the NTU Ranking is led by the universities of Harvard, Stanford and Johns Hopkins.
