The IEB offers scholarships for new PhD students at the UB School of Economics
The Barcelona Institute of Economics (IEB) offers PhD scholarships aimed at students who enrol the doctoral programme in Economics at the UB School of Economics.
The successful candidates will develop their research under the supervision of academics belonging to the IEB research programmes. They will also have teaching duties in Applied Economics at undergraduate level within the Department of Economics –area of Public Economics– of the Faculty of Economics and Business.
The period of the scholarship is three years with possible extension for one more year. Candidates must hold an undergraduate degree awarded after 2015, and hold a master’s degree in Economics by summer 2019.
The yearly gross amount of the stipend –funded by the IEB– is €16,400. The scholarships also cover PhD tuition fees and travel grants for conferences.
