Research Associate – CEDE project / Univ of Sheffield
The Institute for Economic Analysis of Decision Making (InstEAD) at the Department of Economics, University of Sheffield, UK is currently advertising a 2 year Grade 7 Research Associate post for someone with a PhD (or near completion) in economics, or psychology or a related area. The project is a novel one and people with a variety of academic backgrounds may be suitable. Creating and Exploring Digital Empathy (CEDE) is an RCUK funded research project and aims to improve quality of life by enabling a fuller expression of digital personhood and reducing isolation across communities/groups and individuals. They are seeking to appoint a research associate to help carry out the CEDE project and shape future economics and behavioural research in this area. You will hold a PhD in a relevant area (or have equivalent research experience), preferably in economics or psychology. You will have experience of economics psychology, behavioural science, experimental economics or neuroeconomics; you should also have experience of primary research methods including for example, experimental design, field studies, recruitment and research ethics.
