International Workshop on the Economics of Parking – Call for papers
Next November 28th 2016 will take place at the Faculty of Economics and Business (UB) the “International Workshop on the Economics of Parking” organized by the Research Group on Governments and Markets (GiM), the Reference Network for Research in Applied Economicsa (XREAP) and the Pasqual Maragall Chair.
This conference will focus on the recent developments in the economics of parking. By bringing together researchers from different countries, it seeks to become an international meeting to discuss the developments and challenges of research in this field. Papers presented may be theoretical or applied. However, special attention will be given to empirical papers addressing transport policy issues related to the regulation of parking. The workshop will bring together academics, policymakers and practitioners from the public and private sectors to discuss those issues. The conference format will be designed to facilitate informal interactions among participants.
