ICREA Academia – Call for Applications
The Catalan Institution for Research and Advanced Studies (ICREA) has announced the 2016 edition of the “Academia” programme, aimed at university professors who are expanding their research activity in Catalan public universities. The grant is for five years and is intended to promote the awardees’ research, basically by relieving them from teaching duties. The 15 successful candidates will receive 16,000 euros and further 24,000 euros will be awarded to their respective universities. Candidate assessments will take into account the following criteria of scientific excellence: relevance and impact of publications, national and international achievements, leadership capacity, international visibility and other research achievements.
