Funding available for new students joining the MSc in Economics through two teaching assistantships
The Universitat de Barcelona School of Economics has announced two new teaching assistantships aimed at students joining the MSc in Economics in the academic year 2017-2018. The scholarship recipients will perform teaching support activities devoting a total of 32 hours a month, from November to July.
Candidates will be assessed according to their academic career and performance at the bachelor’s degree granting access to the master’s programme (60%), as well as the motivation statement included in the pre-enrollment application form (40%). Applicants may be asked to attend an interview to evaluate their suitability for this scholarship.
With these teaching assistantships, the UB School of Economics wants to facilitate and increase the participation of the finest students in the master’s programme. These scholarships will promote the training of the awarded students in certain fields of Economics and will involve them in the improvement of teaching and learning for university students by providing assistance, preparing study support material and engaging in other teaching support activities.
