Apply for the PhD in Economics with entry funding opportunities for 2024-2025 academic year

Prospective candidates interested in joining the PhD in Economics at the University of Barcelona School of Economics for the academic year 2024-2025 are encouraged to apply before March 15, 2024, and secure their chance to receive entry funding. • – 1 Full Scholarship in Energy Economics at the Chair of Energy Sustainability (IEB-UB). More information. Duration: 3 years.
• – 1 Pre-Scholarship in Economics at the Research Group in Welfare Economics (CREB). More information. Duration: October 2024 to April 2025.
• – 2 Pre-Scholarships in various fields of Economics at the Research Institute Barcelona Economics Analysis Team (BEAT) and the Centre for Economic Analysis and Social Policy (CAEPS). More information. Duration: October 2024 to April 2025.
• – 1 Pre-Scholarship at the Regional Quantitative Analysis Group (AQR) within the project: “The causal effects of language-in-education policies and language training in a bilingual society: novel evidence for the case of Catalonia.” More information. Duration: October 2024 to April 2025.
• – 1 Pre-Scholarship at the Regional Quantitative Analysis Group (AQR) within the project “INSPIRE – Supporting the inclusion, wellbeing, and growth of rural areas through multi-actor Smart Villages labs for enhanced governance framework.” More information. Applicants need to submit their applications for the PhD programme in Economics by March 15, 2024. Additionally, the deadline to submit the required documents for the chosen funding opportunity is March 31, 2024, as a separate application. Eligible candidates can apply to multiple opportunities aligning with their interests.
